Pascal Rogé, Pianist & Music DirectorThis year, the internationally acclaimed French pianist Pascal Rogé will be collaborating with Antonio Lysy as Music Director. Pascal Rogé’s name evokes some of the most brilliant interpretations of French music.

Born in Paris, Pascal has won several international awards, among which two Gramophone Awards, a Grand Prix du Disque and an Edison Award for his rendition of the Ravel and Saint-Saëns concertos.

He has played with the great orchestras and conductors of the world, including the United States,where he has toured every year since his debut in 1974.

His participation in the Incontri festivals has proved to be an extraordinary experience, for general public and musicians alike.

His passion for the music of his country, and his exceptional expertise, have led him to focus this year’s program on French composers of the twentieth century, including Chausson (it will be an anniversary year for this musician), accompanied by works of the great Romantic composers, Schubert, Schumann, and Brahms.
